关于

边界簿 is an independent specialist bookshop in Higashi-Shinjuku focusing on gay and queer art, masculinity and male representation.

Its carefully curated collection includes photography books, art books, magazines, manga, zines, and works by artists from Japan and overseas. Rather than stocking mainstream pornography, the shop explores the space between eroticism and art, giving visitors the chance to discover visual culture and independent publications that can be difficult to find in larger bookshops.

It also operates an online store for browsing and purchasing selected titles. The physical shop opens on Saturdays, so visitors should check its social media before making a special trip.
