Art for Art’s Sake!
With May coming to a close, we’re all getting excited for Tokyo Pride 2026! But don’t worry, my May flowers, the fierce fifth month isn’t done spreading queer joy yet! If you’ve been yearning for yarn spinning, tantalized by tarot, or desperate for drag, then get ready for the third Pride 365 Queer Art Exhibition & Market!
Where and When

Taking place over the last weekend of May, the three-day celebration starts on Friday 29, continues on Saturday 30, and climaxes on Sunday 31. On Friday, doors open at 1pm and close at 8pm; Saturday is the longest day, opening at 11am and closing at 8pm; finally, Sunday opens at 11am and comes to an end at 6pm.
It is being held at the Design Festa Gallery Harajuku WEST. This is the first Pride 365 event of 2026, and is the first to be held next to the DF Cafe/Bar, so you’ll never be stuck for refreshments! That being said, this event is one meant to be welcoming to people of all backgrounds and ages, and to make nobody unduly uncomfortable. With that in mind, visitors are kindly asked to refrain from drinking alcohol on or near the premises until 6pm.
What To Expect

As you can imagine for a market, there will be all sorts of fun things on sale! From original art to Zines, from accessories to clothing, and from odds to ends, there will be plenty for you to get your fiesty fingers on!

While Friday is dedicated purely to the market, the weekend proper will also have a number of performances and interactive stalls. On Saturday, you can enjoy a Tarot Card Reading workshop with Credence, a tattoo workshop with Nori (who will also be exhibiting their EcO FrEaK upcycled genederless wearable art), a guitar and song performance from Shru, who takes inspiration from the emotions of South Indian classical dance, and friend of JGG Samuel C. giving a class on insect pinning on Saturday, before giving a drag performance, fresh off his performance with the Kings of Kanto in April!

On Sunday, Veggie Crochet will give a crochet workshop, and a song performance from percy, who will also be doing live drawings over the weekend. Both nights will also showcase spoken word poetry from Yuka, and a saxophone show by Pitako.

Not only that, but 7pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday are open mics, so if you have something you want to say, sing, or dance, just sign up on the day!
