Refund Policy for Japan Gay Guide Tours

At Japan Gay Guide, we strive to provide the best experience possible for our customers. However, we understand that sometimes plans change. Below are the terms of our refund policy related to tour cancellations and refund requests:

  1. Refund Conditions
    • Full Refund:
       If you cancel your booking at least 14 days before the scheduled tour, you will receive a 100% refund of the booking amount. Note: Processing fees will be deducted from the refund.
    • Partial Refund:
       If you cancel your booking at least 7 days (but less than 14 days) before the tour, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking amount. Note: Processing fees will also be deducted from this refund.
    • No Refund:
       If you cancel less than 7 days before the tour or do not show up without cancelling, you will not receive any refund.
    • Processing/Refund Fees
       These fees apply to all refunds (both full and partial):
      • Domestic Transactions: A fee of 2.9% of the refunded amount plus ¥40.
      • International Transactions: A fee of 3.9% of the refunded amount plus ¥40.
    • No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your tour without prior cancellation, you will not be eligible for a refund.

 

2. Refund Process

    • How Refunds Are Issued: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
    • Processing Time: Refunds can take 5-7 business days to be processed, depending on your payment provider.

 

3. Cancellations or Changes by Japan Gay Guide

    • Provider Cancellations: If we are unable to provide the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, etc.), you will be offered:
      • A full refund, or
      • The option to reschedule the tour at no additional cost.
    • Force Majeure: In cases of extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions, we may cancel the tour. In such cases, you will be offered:
      • A full refund, or
      • The option to reschedule for a future date.

 

4. Special Circumstances

    • Medical or Emergency Situations: If you experience an emergency or medical issue, please contact us as soon as possible. We may provide a partial refund or allow you to reschedule, depending on the situation and at our discretion.
    • Travel Disruptions: We recommend purchasing travel insurance for any disruptions that may prevent you from attending the tour.
