Melanie C has achieved number-one singles in the UK as a solo artist, with “Never Be the Same Again” and “I Turn to You” reaching number one.
Furthermore, her solo albums “Northern Star” (released in 1999), “Reason,” and “Melanie C” have all reached the UK Top 10. However, before joining the Spice Girls in the 90s, she was one of the “F**king Yeah Four,” dancing wildly in the rave scene of Costa Brava in Spain with her 18-year-old friends. The breakbeats, sweat, and freedom of that era have shaped Melanie C, both in the past and in the future. Her ninth studio album, “Sweat,” which symbolizes her identity, will be released in May 2026 as a culmination of her pop legacy and her recent endeavours as a DJ.
